The museum will be open from 10am - 4pm
Tuesday - Sunday (closed Monday)
Please remember to bring your mask as the usual rules will apply.

Fundraising Nature Walk
Postponed...will reschedule
Then we will car pool to the starting point near Boat of Garten. The walk is approx 7km and loops past Loch Garten and Loch Mallachie.
Please bring a packed lunch, and suitable clothing and footwear - dogs are welcome (on leads).
Should take around 1hr 45 mins, then back to the museum for tea and biscuits.

"Past Lives on the Dava"

The museum, working with Charles Fletcher and Lynn Robinson, present an expanded version of their smaller exhibit last year "Remains of Past Lives", exploring the abandoned crofts on Dava Moor.

Tunes’n’Tales with Adam Sutherland

A rare chance to join Scottish fiddler Adam Sutherland for a rollercoaster evening of charismatic storytelling and tunesmithery.   
A compelling and engaging performer and storyteller, Adam will play a selection of his own tunes and share reflections of his life and music with insights into his childhood home, his myriad influences and the intriguing people who have influenced his work along the way.

Abernethy Highland Games
Postponed - rescheduled for 2021

2020 was supposed to be the year of the Clan Grant International Gathering (held every 5 years) - this has been cancelled and will now take place in 2021. The museum will be at the Games to celebrate the big occasion.

Blues Guitarist - "Claude Bourbon"
​7pm at the museum (doors 6.30pm)

A breathtaking acoustic fusion of blues, jazz, folk, classical and Spanish guitar from a stunning guitar virtuoso…”Altadena News, USA”
Claude Bourbon is an enigma, he is a classically trained musician, who fuses every conceivable genre of acoustic guitar music into a master-class of a stage performance. There are Latin, Spanish, Gypsy, Jazz and Delta Blues influences throughout, and often within one seamless stream of perfection.
