Grantown Museum & Visitor Centre Local Questionnaire
Grantown Museum tells the story of the town founded in 1765 and the people who have lived here since. It was set up by local volunteers who raised £150k to purchase its current home at Burnfield House in 1995, was opened in April 1999 and took on the role of Visitor Information Centre in 2016. Following a full refurbishment, it currently provides a shop, museum, gallery and information desk from April to October. Most of the events, exhibitions, building and garden maintenance, welcome and information services are delivered through volunteers with grant funding paying for required professional services. The Grantown Heritage Trust want to find out if you think the Museum and Visitor Centre offers an important service and how you would like to see it develop in future.
