Grantown twins Suzanne and Shelley have been playing football since the age of 15 . Both have played for Scotland. Shelley has played for Glasgow city and for Scotland. Suzanne has played for Arsenal, Celtic and now plays for Motherwell. She has over 100 caps for playing at national level.

Craig MacLean MBE
Craig is a track cyclist who has represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning a Silver Medal in the Team Sprint at the 2000 Olympics. As a sighted guide, McLean returned to the sport in its Paralympic form, piloting Neil Fachie to two gold medals in the 2011 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships, and Anthony Kappes to a gold medal in the 2012 Paralympic Games. MacLean is only the second athlete, after Hungarian fencer Pál Szekeres, ever to win medals at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Hannah McCook first played golf at the age of six. She has been part of the North Junior Girls and Northern Counties teams, and was Northern Counties Ladies Champion in 2012. Hannah first played for Scotland at under 16 level in 2009, then in the Girls and Ladies Home Internationals, and Girls European Team Championships. The University of Stirling Sports Studies graduate represented Great Britain at the World University Golf Championships and the World Student Games in Korea.
