Handmade by Metchtild Morin (wife of Gilbert Morin, Lebret, Saskatchewan, Canada - great-great grandson of Cuthbert Grant Jr.). Worn for traditional dress & celebrations, around the waist (mostly by men). Made approx. 2010. Donated by Debbie Poncsak, Canada.

World War 1 Notice

Rare Cairngorm stones donated by Kate Purdy - they were picked up by her grandfather while walking in the mountains. He was Lewis Alexander Stuart – a gamekeeper for the Seafield estate – born in Cullen at Cullen House Grand Entry in 1864.
